2 full hours of Turkish Romani social dance instruction from the REAL DEAL!
Reyhan is internationally known for her teaching skill of authentic Turkish Romani social dance. She teaches in a "lead-follow" format!
Reyhan is a “cultural treasure for Romani dance” that will forever change the way one understands, and feels, Romani dance. Rarely is a dancer able to study with someone who can reveal the magic and beauty of a dance tradition in its purest form. Don't miss it!

*We are hoping to raise money this year to help Reyhan and her family relocate. The Roma in Reyhan's village in Gazi Osman Pasa, Istanbul are being forced to leave their homes and relocate so that new condos can be built there. They are compensated very little or not at all. Reyhan's family has lived in this same "mahala" for generations. It is their home. We are hoping to help them find a new home with a studio where they can continue teaching their Romani dance and music. All proceeds from this class after studio rental expenses are met will be donated to the Tuzsuz family (Location TBA because I have a studio on hold in Silver Spring, but am searching for free space so we can donate all the money to help them purchase a new home).
