I was at the mall the other day and I saw one of those kiosks with hair straighteners and I just wanted to know what made them so special to rate their own little store. Let me just tell you I am sold. Not only does it work quickly, generally with just one pass, but you can also curl your hair with it. I doubt I will use a curling iron again. Plus your hair passes smoothly over the ceramic plates instead of catching and tearing like over cheaper models. The only thing I suggest is buying from ebay instead of the kiosk if you are short on money and don't have toddlers so you require the 3 year warranty. You can cut 50 or more dollars off the price. -  Galena
