I recently found Kyodai and it has become my new favorite sushi restaurant. I love that they give you half a roll. It allows you to try lots of different things that you may not want a whole roll of. I Highly recommend Kyodai Rotating Sushi bar! - Rachel , posted 12/28/05 |
 I was impressed every time i went here except for one thing... the selection hasn't changed yet in several months. One thing I most enjoy about Sushi Hana and Chiu's is coming in and seeing new specials on the wall every week or two, and trying them out. I've been to Kyodai 4 or 5 times now, and while everything is excellent (and I've tried to try everything) - even the avocado/crab imperial was fantastic - I like some change. Well..My wife and I LOVE sushi, and since we already had a favorite place to enjoy sushi in Towson, we put off trying Kyodai. Our old favorite..Sushi Hanna, has found its match..and maybe even demise. I was reluctent to even try Kyodai, because I thought that it would be more gimmick than good sushi,,WAS I EVER WRONG!..The Sushi and the experience at Kyodai are the best ever. Two fridays ago we went to Sushi Hanna for our normal friday sushi nite. Well..we got there and for some reason there was a power failure..lights out. We decided to instead try Kyodai. Well...the sushi here is wonderful, service is great, and the owner a nice and friendly guy. Add the fun of watching the sushi travel around the conveyor at the bar and you have a wonderful mix of visuals, flavors, and just a good warm feeling! Everyone around the sushi bar is happy and eating away! Try Kyodai..and dont forget to try the Green Tea or Red Bean Ice creams for dessert..they are both a fantastic and different treat! The Sushi comes around in front of you on a small conveyer belt. It's tons fo fun and the food is delicious. If you don't see what you like, than order off the menu. It's reasonably priced, they charge you by how many plates and the color of the plate. If you like Sushi, you should definitely check out Kyodai!
